Terms of Service
Effective May 12, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of chldispatch.com, continentalhaul.com, and every service operated by Continental Haul Logistics LLC ("CHL," "we," "us," or "our"), a Missouri limited liability company (EIN 42-2003434) headquartered at 618 W Greenwood St, Springfield, MO 65807. By using our website, dispatch portal, mobile applications, or SMS and voice dispatch services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Scope of Services
CHL is a property freight broker authorized under FMCSA Docket Number MC-1817555. We arrange the transportation of freight between shippers and motor carriers. CHL does not operate trucks and is not a motor carrier. All actual transportation services are performed by independent motor carriers selected by CHL.
2. Eligibility
Our services are available only to businesses lawfully operating in the United States. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to enter into contracts on behalf of your organization.
3. Carrier and Shipper Obligations
Motor carriers using our dispatch services represent and warrant that they hold active FMCSA operating authority, maintain required insurance (minimum $750,000 liability and $100,000 cargo unless higher limits are specified per load), and comply with all applicable federal and state transportation regulations.
Shippers using our services represent and warrant that they have authority to tender the described freight and that the goods are accurately described, properly packaged, and lawful to transport.
4. Rate Confirmations and Carrier Agreements
Each load brokered through CHL is subject to a separate rate confirmation issued at the time of booking. The rate confirmation, together with any executed Broker-Carrier Agreement, governs the specific transaction and supersedes any conflicting terms in these Terms of Service.
5. Limitations of Liability
CHL's liability is limited to its role as a transportation broker under 49 USC §13901 et seq. CHL is not liable for the negligent acts or omissions of motor carriers, nor for cargo loss or damage occurring during transport. Cargo claims must be pursued against the motor carrier in possession of the freight at the time of loss.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold CHL harmless from claims arising out of your use of our services, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Greene County, Missouri.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
